Ordinary Pakistani passports and the eVisa list

Saudi visit filing for a Pakistani passport is not one click for everyone. The open tourist eVisa nationality list, the Western-visa exception, and the Tasheer VAC path are three different stories. Agents who collapse them into “eVisa for every Pakistani” are selling a myth. Differentiation here is clarity and a refusal to lie — not a claimed rank, not an approval rate, and not a scraped competitor fee table.

The open tourist eVisa nationality list (myth vs fact)

Ordinary Pakistani passports are generally not on the open tourist eVisa nationality list. “Everyone can apply online in five minutes” is the line that usually fails first — and we will not repeat it. Rules move. Confirm on the official Visit Saudi / visa portal the day you apply. This page is assistance, not immigration advice, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome.

If a desk quotes you an “online tourist eVisa for every Pakistani passport” without checking Western visa or PR history, treat that as a red flag. Ordinary books usually belong on the Tasheer path below — not on a five-minute portal story.

Western visa / PR exception (high level)

A used US / UK / Schengen visa, or US / UK / EU permanent residence, can open the eVisa / visa-on-arrival exception path that Visit Saudi publishes for eligible travellers. Keep this high-level: confirm eligibility on the official portal that day. We do not invent eligibility spreadsheets, and we do not treat a friend’s rumour as a rule.

If you hold that kind of visa or PR, say so in the file check before anyone takes PKR 10,000. If you do not, do not pretend you do — the portal and the VAC both see the book. A used stamp or residence card is the honest shortcut; inventing one is how files get refused before they start.

Tasheer VAC path for ordinary passports

Ordinary Pakistani passports typically file through Tasheer visa application centres — Lahore, and also Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, and Multan. Biometrics at the VAC and a full file are typical. A common VAC product is reported as single-entry for about thirty days — confirm at Tasheer; do not freeze that as eternal law.

Government and VAC money are paid at the rate published that day. Figures you have heard from a cousin or an old screenshot are not our fixed forever price list. Commonly cited SAR amounts and bank-credit patterns on our fee panel are labelled the same way: confirm at the centre or on the official portal the day you book.

What HMB’s PKR 10,000 covers (and does not)

PKR 10,000 is our processing fee per applicant for published visit destinations — including Saudi visit. It is not the embassy fee, not the VAC fee, and not a grant. Comparing it to a vague “all-in” agent quote is useless until you split processing work from government money.

It covers form completion for you to check and sign; document collection, checking, and courier; appointment booking and VAC or portal logistics; and status follow-up until the mission answers. That is administrative work. The embassy / VAC / portal still decides.

It does not cover the embassy, VAC, or portal fee itself; insurance, translation, attestation, photographs, polio, or courier actuals; travel and accommodation; or a visa grant. The fee is not refundable on refusal because the work was the filing — say that once, calmly, before money moves.

Government-side figures people ask about (for example a commonly cited SAR VAC fee, or eVisa / VOA exception totals on visa.visitsaudi.com, or a bank-credit pattern) are commonly asked — confirm at the centre or portal that day. We will not rewrite them here as HMB’s fixed forever price list. Run the file check on the visa hub before you pay processing; embassy money stays extra.

File check before we take the fee

Align with the visa hub: we band a file strong, fair, weak, or we will not file. That is not a percentage and not a prediction. Hidden refusals are refused by us first. The embassy still decides. A weak file that waits costs less than a fee spent on paperwork we already know will bounce.

Typical passable ingredients for a Saudi visit file: passport with six months or more validity; a proper photo; a polio card from Pakistan; a full VAC file when you are on the Tasheer path. The Western-visa / PR exception is the only honest shortcut off that path. Thin statements, a job-search story dressed as tourism, or an “everyone gets eVisa” pitch are how files die.

Umrah on a tourist visa still needs Nusuk appointments

Visit approval is the mission’s decision. If you later travel on a tourist visa, Umrah still needs Nusuk appointments. We state that one honest line and stop. We do not invent Nusuk step-by-steps, slot guarantees, or Rawdah promises on this page.

Hajj season often suspends tourist filing. Treat that as a live operational fact to confirm when you apply — not as a calendar we invent here.
